![]() A character who is living inside a bubble is a real a-hole. His arrogance and anger is on display in everything he says, which is such a Seinfeldy thing to do. He’s only in the second half of the show and we never see him, but the whole episode is based on him, and when George finally meets him, he doesn’t disappoint. He’s neurotic, obsessive, and vindictive, and I very much enjoy it. (In other words: I have been in near-fights over Trivial Pursuit). This is one of the definitive George episodes all his problems are of his own making, caused by his stubborn inability to let things go, and yet you can still see his side. “Why don’t you take your top off?” Indeed Donald…indeed.Īndrew: The Bubble Boy almost wins for his excellent “How ‘bout takin’ your top off?” line reading, but I have to give this one to George. Every syllable is angry, mean and so perfect considering how much time they took to set him up as sympathetic. When we first hear his heavenly voice he’s threatening to shove food in his mother’s face and it doesn’t let up until he assaults George in a fit of rage. ![]() Scratch that, we already hear how frustrated his father in when Donald controls the TV remote. He’s just so angry, right from the start. Donald the Bubble Boy is a treasure, and he deserves every inch of this one. And it is all topped off by Jerry wishing the Bubble Boy a jovial happy birthday as he is wheeled out on a stretcher.Īaron: Never when I started doing these did I think I’d hand this out to someone we never see. And it boils over so badly that he gets into a war over a stupid autographed picture that is hanging on the wall of some random podunk diner. But Jerry, between not giving a shit about the Bubble Boy and his growing frustration along the way with everyone in the way of his vacation, he was just a tour de force. Justin: I have to go with Jerry here, even though everyone was a candidate across the board, right down to the Bubble Boy’s mother. So settle into your couch with the cushions flipped over, grab a Snapple and enjoy the ride! The goal is to rewatch the entire series chronologically to see what truly worked, what still holds up today, what feels just a bit dated and yada, yada, yada it will be a great time. Kramer accidentally burns down the cabin.Welcome to Seinfeld: The PTBN Series Rewatch! SUMMARY Jerry asks Elaine to go with him and George and Susan to Susan's parents' to a cabin in the A character was born that will live in all of us forever.ĮPISODE GUIDE from Jerry Seinfeld: The Entire Domain by Kathleen Tracy Also, we got Kramer trying to rescue HIS cigars from the burning cabin, which was his fault, from the cigars which were given to Susan, from her father, who's cabin he burnt down with the very same cigars he ended up receiving from her father, to Susan, to George, to Kramer, just a few short episodes ago. Finally, we get links within links wrapped in links in beautiful LD fashion with the cigars, cabin, Kramer not supposed to be there, Naomi, and everything else in between. We have the hick townspeople starting a riot to avenge the Bubble Chico, even though he's fine, when he really should be dying by being outside the bubble. We get the epitome of Georginess when George asks for change from the tolls whilst Susan's cabin is burning down as well as insisting that Moops was the correct answer, even while the life is being choked from him by the Bubble Yeled, as well as Jerry insisting that he get the picture back to avoid a lifetime of embarrassment for "nothing's finer than eating in your diner", which I think is good, even while he is getting choked. From pie country rhyming of pies to '47 Cabin, to Kramer's clown red and pink car, to the Bubble Boy himself, with his obnoxious and disrespectful lines of dialogue to his parents and to Susan, this is one hilarious episode. The Moors in Trivial Pursuit.Ī nice OCB is the only thing that is simply nice in this beauty of a beautiful episode. George and Susan get to the BB's house, but George ends up fighting with him over The Moops v. Jerry and Elaine are supposed to meet George and Susan at the Bubble Boy's house first, but Jerry and Elaine lose George due to his crazy driving, and end up getting stuck in a diner.
